About

After twenty years of pastoring, teaching, counseling, and conducting Seminars in the Caribbean and America, the Lord called Kennedy Vanterpool to begin Prosperity Ministry in 2003. The Ministry’s vision is to mend the great disconnection between what is taught in Bible and what is practiced during the week. Prosperity Ministry was born while he was studying the life of Joseph. It was ironic because during this time the family was facing their greatest financial challenges. He had to learn first hand what prosperity is not. He went through a complete paradigm shift in his thinking, belief system, and way of living. The Lord first gave him a series of Bible Studies, then several books on these subjects. Because of strong indoctrination of the belief that prosperity is dependent upon how much you have as compared to who you are and who you know; he struggles sometimes with the concepts God has given him. Kennedy graduated from Caribbean Union College, as president of his class of 1982. That same year he married the beautiful and talented Ester Simmons, from St. Lucia, who graduated from West Indies College. The marriage produced three wonderful children; Kenesha, Kenesky and Kenesma. He attended Indiana State University where he completed a Master Degree in Counseling. He started his PhD in Counseling Psychology at Andrews University. When he saw the strain it placed on his family; he walked away after one year. In 1994 he started the family business known as Kenes Company; they provided a wide variety of vending services. Pastor Vanterpool in available to conduct seminars in areas of prosperity, relationships and mending the great disconnection between church and our daily activities.
